During 2006, NOBO Heating introduced its new Multi-zone digital RF programmer which works with the NOBO controllable electric heaters around the home to reduce energy usage and achieve optimal indoor comfort.

The Orion 700 is a complete control hub which controls a wide range of electric heaters and other electrical ancillary items within individual zones such as living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms.

The controller sends out radio signals to receivers which turn appliances on/off or keep temperatures within preset levels. In the case of a NOBO solar hot water system the Orion 700 can also be used to control the electrical immersion heater in the hot water storage tank. This together with the Eco Series control unit will ensure that hot water is available on demand throughout the year through a combination of solar/electrical energy.
